- Richard Sala grew up with a fascination for musty old museums, dusty old libraries, cluttered antique shops, narrow alleyways, hidden truths, double meanings, sinister secrets and spooky old houses. Great interview! I was wondering, Mr. Sala, if you've ever read Jules Verne's oddly moody "The Carpathian Castle" (also known by a variety of similar titles like "The Transylvanian Castle" and "Castle Of The Carpathians" ? I just finished it and thought it might be right up your dimly lit and cobblestoned alley.
