Great stuff. I love the gothic weirdness, and how you're able to create such moody scenes with such a clean style. Even the monsters look a little frightened. I'm a little disappointed that there aren't any tights on the cat-girl though. In addition to the old school monsters and madmen, one of the things I really like about your work are the female characters with a 1960s catburglar vibe going on. Still waiting to see how you bring back Phoebe. Again, great stuff. Anything that involves monsters, conspiracies, and ladies in tights has my vote.
Richard Sala grew up with a fascination for musty old museums, dusty old libraries, cluttered antique shops, narrow alleyways, hidden truths, double meanings, sinister secrets and spooky old houses. He has written and drawn a number of unusual graphic novels and has provided illustrations for a variety of clients all over the world.
His books include THE HIDDEN, DELPHINE, CAT BURGLAR BLACK, PECULIA, MAD NIGHT, THE CHUCKLING WHATSIT, THE GRAVEROBBER'S DAUGHTER, VIOLENZIA and several more.
