Hard to believe that when I started this "fairy tale gone horribly wrong" story our culture wasn't over-run with Snow White and Fairy Tale "re-imaginings". When the earliest issues came out, one of the producers of the (then-filming) movie Shutter Island was very interested & we had many talks. When it dawned on him that it wasn't coming out monthly but YEARLY, he lost interest. Suddenly there were two (!) Snow White movies in development - and now they've come and gone. Then there were two "Once upon a time" TV shows. Hopefully, by the time this book version finally comes out the whole thing won't seem tiresome and played out.
Advice to young cartoonists: Get into the movie-making business!!
It is scheduled be in stores in early January ~ possibly available earlier online.
